The purpose of this blog is to share some knowledge about the Mathematical Explorations in Early Childhood. “Children learn mathematics when they begin to interact with the world around them and become aware of the attributes of everything they see, touch, hear, smell and taste” (Irons, 1999, p. 27). This learning process is also known as the Beginning Processes which are; identifying and describing attributes, matching, sorting, comparing, ordering and patterning.
